You pay us nothing
There is no fee for using Carolo. You can complete the form without paying us, and submitting an enquiry does not commit you to a finance agreement.
Carolo is a trading style of PJG Financial Limited. We are a credit broker, not a lender.
How commission works
We may receive a commission for the introduction to lending and brokering partners. You can ask us for the amount, or likely amount, of commission relating to a proposed agreement before entering into it.
Commission may vary by lender or product and may affect what the specialist or lender offers. It is important to understand this before deciding whether to proceed. You can ask us about commission at hello@carolo.co.uk.
The specialist or lender must explain their own terms, including any fees, charges and commission arrangements that apply to their service or your proposed agreement. Ask them to explain anything that is unclear before you sign.
What happens to your enquiry
You fill in the form. Your enquiry then goes to a car finance specialist, an FCA-authorised firm. That firm may be a credit broker or a lender, and it may pass your enquiry to a limited number of lenders.
The specialist gets in touch, explains the options and gives any quote or advice. We do not search the whole market and we do not give advice. We do not arrange or provide finance. The lender decides any application and provides any finance.
Credit searches and borrowing costs
We do not run credit searches. The specialist or lender runs any credit search and must explain it. Ask what search is needed and how it may affect your credit record before proceeding.
Our service has no fee, but borrowing can involve interest and other charges. Check the total amount payable, the length of the agreement, the payments and any conditions attached to the car. The specialist or lender must explain their own terms.
Car finance is credit. If you miss payments, your car can be taken back and your credit record can be affected. Only enter an agreement when you understand the costs and your responsibilities.
